Our Core Initiatives
Many of the people we serve come to us carrying more than just a record. They are carrying years of missed opportunities, heavy responsibilities, and the weight of being counted out. They are parents trying to provide stability for their children, sons and daughters determined not to repeat cycles of hardship, and neighbors who want nothing more than to contribute to their communities with dignity. At Unchained Hearts, we see more than their past; we see their potential. Our initiatives are built to break down the real barriers they face.
Workforce Readiness & Training
We equip participants with job-ready skills through career coaching, resume support, interview preparation, and industry-recognized certifications (CNA, CDL, HVAC, Forklift, and more).
Wraparound Support Services
From childcare referrals to transportation vouchers, we remove the practical barriers that often prevent people from completing training and maintaining employment.
Mental Health & Wellness
We create space for healing by connecting participants with counseling and supportive services that focus on rebuilding confidence, managing stress, and finding balance. By addressing the emotional toll as well as the practical barriers, we help participants step back into the workforce not just ready to work, but ready to thrive.
Legal Assistance & Advocacy
Through partnerships with legal aid organizations, we provide expungement services and guidance to help participants reduce justice-related barriers to employment.

Unchained Hearts was born from the lived experience and a simple but powerful belief: people are more than their mistakes. Too often, justice-impacted individuals return home with the will to change but without the tools, support, or opportunity to make that change last. The result? Doors remain closed, families struggle, and the cycle repeats.
We exist to break those cycles.
At Unchained Hearts, we walk beside people as they take the brave step into a new chapter. We provide not only workforce training, but also childcare support, transportation, legal aid, and mental health resources because we know a job alone isn't enough. A life rebuilt requires stability, dignity, and community.
